know yourself

Know yourself; that is what they are afraid of. Know who you are, and you will never be under their control. That goes for governments, authorities, bosses, even family and friends. Treasure your ability to process information as the most intellectually advanced organism on planet Earth and be courageous enough to learn what most ignore. And if you make "errors" along the way, do not insult yourself - just observe the confusion, discover the correction and grow. Our ability to create what is known as the mistake provides us with the possibility to formulate an answer.

Remember YOU

Quietly now, remember who you are. Those supposed attainments numerous individuals share via social media should not disrupt how you see yourself. Your path is different, remember that. Silence the doubt by knowing your truth, which is not for me to give nor for others to have; because deep down you already feel it and it's yours. You know more than I do about yourself, but focusing on the lives of others will influence you to believe you don't. It may not be met this year, but one day soon it will become apparent that all your miseries contributed to the birth of something too special for words. That's why you can feel it but are confused when you attempt to make sense of the feeling by thinking; which that transforms into overthinking and is intensified once self-judgment is involved by observing the growth and pathways of other people. You're not them; you're you - remember that. How simple but tragic amid ego-inflated influencers do we seem to forget the uniqueness of ourselves.
